Hi all and welcome,
My name is Liron Amitzi, I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and I have been an Oracle DBA since 1998. Since 2002 I have been working as a database consultant, and managed database consulting teams (while still being a senior consultant myself). During these years I worked with many companies and in many areas. I mostly like performance tuning (infrastructure and SQL) and the more complex infrastructure issues (RAC, DataGuard, etc.).
I have been an Oracle ACE since 2009 (and got promoted to Oracle ACE Director in January 2020), an OCP since 2015, ilOUG (Israeli Oracle User Group) board member in 2011-2015, board member of BCOUG (British Columbia Oracle User Group) since 2016, and president of BCOUG since 2017.
On this site you’ll find my blog (moved from amitzil.wordpress.com) and some other useful information for DBAs (and a lot more to come). In the blog, I write about Oracle stuff ranging from full articles through short posts on various topics.
