I don’t know how many of you know Martin Widlake, but if you don’t, you should. Martin is a British guy I met for the first time in Ireland OUG about a year ago. He has recently been promoted to be an ACE Director, very involved in the OUG community, he is part of the Oaktable, speaks a lot in conferences and a great guy in General.
Martin has a technical blog (here’s the link) and he has a column on his blog called “Friday Philosophy”. In this column he talks about all kind of things, which are not technical, but somehow related to our lives at work, as DBAs, as speakers and so on.
Lately I wrote a post with my thoughts about open source projects, and then I realize that it can be perfect for Martin’s Friday Philosophy column. I wrote to him and he published my post as a “Guest Friday Philosophy” post.
